Go to the Calendar Page. Scroll down to the calendar at the bottom and click on the Google image. Follow the directions for creating a Google account. Go to the settings page and have your reminders sent by email. You choose how many days ahead of events you want your reminders to arrive.

Skate Day

Get out of the summer heat and come to Skate Country for Homeschool Summer Skate Day! 

August 6th is the last homeschool skate day for this summer.
The time will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Skate Country in Bellmead on Loop 340, and it is still $4 per skater.  (This is the location we met at during the ’08-’09 school year.)  
Skate Country has installed a new children’s play area for children 12 and under, and the cost to use this feature is $3 per child.  
Hope to see many families out for some skating fun this summer!

September Meeting – Parents’ Night Out

Have You Really Talked To Your Husband Lately?

As we were busy scheduling the Sept. 17th General GWCHE Meeting, we kept hearing, “I can’t come because we will be busy.” Hearing this, we wanted you to know that our heart is to bless you and not overwhelm you. God put on our hearts to have a night where you and your husband could actually talk. Many of you just never take the time for yourselves. We hope this night you can communicate with your spouse and encourage each other. Get on the same page early this year! We promised outside the box this year.

We will have a quick meeting and let you get A+ Cards, get your child’s Student Ids, turn in Box Tops and Campbells Labels, pick up Yearbooks, drop off your kids and then go.

You can go out to eat, go shopping or (my favorite) at Bahama Bucks and actually talk. So here is the information:

DATE NIGHT ON GWCHE

  • Thursday, Sept. 17
  • Early registration 6:30 PM
  • Meeting starts at 7:00 PM
  • Retrieve kids at 8:30 PM
  • FREE

Reserve child care for ages 1-5 with Lisa at childcare@gwche.org

Reserve art lessons for ages 6-12 with Tara at art@gwche.org

(Tara will need help so teens can stay to help if needed. Just let her know.)

The only catch is that you must be a GWCHE member to get this FREE offer AND you must come back and get your kids. The pick up time will be 8:30 PM.

HSLDA @home e-vents
